This is my faint brown diamond.  It looks very differnet depending on the lighting, from goldenvanila in indirect sunlight to bluish in full sunn and white most of the time…It took several tries in different light to get the brown to show up in the picture.  It will be set in yellow gold.  image4

Here’s my stone at work.. in fluorescent lighting: image9

And here hit is in my husband’s car… not in direct sunlight:

If I’m in a really dimly lit room it can also look purple. I’ve had people ask me if I had a purple stone, so I really love the multi-facets it presents!

MuslimahDeJesus:  My engagement ring is actually white gold but my bands are YG. In different lighting the YG of my bands makes my e-ring look like YG! I actually thought about resetting my e-ring in yellow gold haha, but I haven’t had the ring for too long and I know my husband wouldn’t be too keen on that idea just yet!

MuslimahDeJesus:  I think so too! I wish I thought about it at first… YG is totally making a comeback. But then again, it never really went “out.” I think WG became so popular because it’s a more affordable and more sturdy alternative to platinum. I’ve been seeing a LOT more rings being set in yellow gold though so now I’m envious of everyone’s yellow gold rings, lol. It’s always a classic look.

I told the Fiance I wanted something with color in it but he wanted it to be a surprise. I think he enjoyed picking the design and the stones. I love it, it’s a little unique but not too crazy. It actually goes with everything but I do wear more blue now to show it off 🙂
