Another pear-shaped gal here! I’m 5’6″ and about 158 lbs…and as you can see, very little of that weight comes from my top. πŸ˜‰

ETA: My dress is a size 12, to accommodate my waist & hips. I’m pretty squarely a 10 in street clothes.

@ariggin:  I’ve noticed a lot of girls have posted their height and weight in this thread, but the more I look through it, you can’t tell the difference between the 110lb girls to the “not 110” range that I also fall in  πŸ™‚  Your wedding dress will make you look fantastic no matter what you weigh or how tall you are.  When it is the RIGHT dress you will be glowing!

Also, some other girls mentioned to throw out the “rules” on what you think you want or don’t want.  I said NO STRAPLESS, nothing puffy, and nor train.  I thought all those would make me look fat or like a linebacker.  However…. my dress is all of the above and I think it makes me look as skinny as I was in high school!

Try on as MANY dresses that you can, of all different styles!  It is SO much fun trying them on!

Enjoy wedding dress shopping!

Hi doll! I’m your exact size 5″2, boobs and curves and all!

I went with a natural, ball gown because it really makes the waist tinny and looks SO feminine. πŸ™‚ Try looking for the dress you like then take the dress name and number and punch it into google, actual brides will be shown wearing the dress and you’ll be able to see a real life fit πŸ™‚ good luck!

Here’s mine, I’m 5’3″ and weighed 117 lbs. this day (only reason I know this is I tried it on the day of our Biggest Loser final weigh in a few weeks ago).  I have a curvy shape however have lost some of my boobs since I lost some weight, boo to that.  But I love my dress now on me:)  Oh and I highly recommend a sweetheart neckline, you’ll know right away if you’ll like it or not once you try it on compared to others, every dress I tried on that didn’t have it, I made it look like one with my hands:)

(It majorly needs to be presses, been in my closet for months)
