@bunnyharriet:  Those are awesome!  I was looking for something besides Chinese lanterns and these are perfect!  Also I get to relive part of my childhood!

I should mention, it’s quite large. 8 feet long and 7 feet tall!

love this thread!—how cost efficient is it for the table runners to just buy fabric from a crafts store??

@crisaquarius24:  I bought my pintuck runners (17 total) from ebay for $2.70 each…not sure how much the fabric would be but it seemed like a very good deal to me after pricing them at various places online.

Tissue poms are easy and cheap and quick, if you’re ok with the semi-casual look:

I made a ton of barnwood signs with white kraft paint… not many pics of them in action yet, but they were a big hit!  Having them scattered around the venue added a cool handmade rustic feel.

@bunnyharri Depending on the color, you can find them at local party stores or online. I love this site, for numerous reasons. You will need to rent a helium tank or take them to be filled somewhere since they require a lot of helium.

My decor was definitely understated, but I think the pop of the colors really made it beautiful 🙂 I also love that my venue was in Old Town Lansing which has the cutest alleys and graffiti, so it made a great picture backdrop!
