Congratulations on your engagement! You must still be in the ring drooling stage! My DH used to tell me if I was getting too obvious when we were out at dinner for instance…I’m not sure I’ve ever stopped staring at my engagement ring though, I may have got better at hiding it(!)
When you say different looks from people – surely you can’t mean not everyone’s taken with it? It’s so beautiful they can’t possibly dislike it! Or is this an American it’s-not-diamond-so-it-doesn’t-count kind of thing? Which I’ve always found highly offensive wherever I’ve seen bees report such nonsense remarks from others.
It’s so lovely to see all of the gorgeous rings ladies! As a PP said, we’re very lucky bees!

Soo beautiful. I love that shape.
Thank you so much! I definitely still am, it’s almost embarrassing haha. I’ve never owned something so beautiful and sparkly (I’m usually awful with jewelry). I’ve had a few people comment awkwardly on how ‘different’ my ring is. I don’t know if it’s because marquise diamonds are the most common anymore or what their deal is! I agree with you completely though! Some people just plain suck. Any ring can be an ering and any ring can be gorgeous!!

loooove the matching nail polishes 😛 something I find it hard to not clash my nail polish with my sapphire rings. I have a yellow gold band with an oval sapphire the Fiance gave me when we first started dating that caused me problems

Lol actually I found the ring. It’s a Beverly K.with diamonds and sapphires. I thought it complemented her e-ring verywell.

Thank you! It’s a light blue sapphire from Moissaniteco.com 🙂

I do like to match polish sometimes and did so on purpose for those photos. I just love nail polish and have all colors. More often than not, the rings don’t match the nail color. 🙂

OOooohhh…thanks for starting this thread! Everyone’s rings are stunning and congrats on your engagement! Here’s a picture of mine the day after he proposed; we were in Jamaica and were surrounded by trees when I took this shot. It’s crazy how the color of the sapphire will change depending on the light and the surroundings.
And here it is under the grocery store lights. I was supposed to be shopping for fruit, but ended up taking pictures instead, whoops! 😉

My great grandmothers sapphire engagement ring that was passed down to me recently, circa 1940’s. It needs a bit of a clean and some repair but I love it!
My my engagement ring is a peach sapphire, I don’t have it yet though!
