@jenefer:  your solitaire is about 1.5 carats right? I think with that size you can go up to about 8-10 pointers and still have it look proportional (which would be a good size range for a 7 stone band). That will be 2.5-3 mm though. If you want something thinner, I would try 3-4 pointers (9 stones) which should be around 2 mm. You could also do much smaller or even micropave, just depends on what look you like best. There are a lot of solitaire/diamond band sets over at pricescope too for inspiration!

My solitaire is 1ct princess cut and my band (not married yet but have been very naughty and keep trying it on and having ‘photo shoots’ with it!) is 3/4 eternity with grain set diamonds on all three sides.

We looked at upgrading my solitatire but i am sentimental and could not change it as its what my Fiance chose and propsed with so i got a blingy band insead. Took me AGES to choose!! I even bought one and sold it back to the jeweller and then got this one.

The way i see it, its a big choice and you will have to wear this forever so you should get something that you love and are happy with. So keep looking for as long as you need to and getting inspiration from here is a great idea!

You girls have some STUNNING ring combinations going x

I also have a princess soiitaire e-ring. My band is a vintage double row band. My set is soldered together.

My e ring is .25 carats and each wedding band is .25 carats for a TCW of 3/4 carat. My wedding bands are 1/2 eternity. I knew I would always be banging the bottom of my ring into something (I work in the health care field) and didn’t want to risk losing stones on the bottom of a full eternity band.

@Mrs_PinkHerman:  I got it at a local jewelry store, same place we got my e-ring. Sadly, the place closed. But I love my band also 🙂
