MrsC_2Bee:  thank you! My band ( and my entire set) was made by David Klass. I also have a plain 2mm platinum band I stack with it. He actually took my original wedding ring that was white gold with channel set diamonds and created this new ring in platinum.  I just got it made for our ten year anniversary back in Sept. I got a new set this past year because my original antique set is showing signs of wear and tear (to be expected in an almost 100 year old ring I guess.) Anyway, I am happy with the results and I wear the 3mm band by itself sometimes too.

I don’t have a pic of them together yet, unfortuately, but this is my ering, about 1.3mm at it’s narrowest

And this is my wedding band, about 2/2.5mm

Here is my set, I cannot wait to wear it everyday! It is a 2mm ering with a 5mm band.

MrsC_2Bee:  Thank you very much! I actually found it at Robbins Brothers (who knew).  I custom ordered mine in Platinum with a rose gold underlay.  I had scoured every designer and I couldnt find anything I liked.  My Fiance and I were getting ready to the full custom route. I just happened to go into this store for a different reason and there it was with a halo of light and angels singing.

I didnt realize how much I love this look until I played around with bands! So many stunning sets in this thread.

Not a huge difference but here’s my 1.8mm ering and a stand-in 2.5mm band (still deciding if I want stones or plain):

MrsC_2Bee:

My set, I was more concerned with the thickness being the same as my e-ring than the width – e-ring is 1.4 mm and band is about 4 mm I think to the widest part. I love that mixing and matching is so popular now! I think it really lets you show your personality more <3

thumperbear:  Thankyou! I’m not sure what size they are individually, but I know all together they are 1 CTW! and they go about 3/4’s around the band.

My wedding band is 4mm – not sure about my engagement ring 😊

mine isn’t a huge difference, but I needed a thicker band. It compliments my thin band well!

this isn’t the best picture, I just took it for the polish this summer. I love my thin engagement ring paired with my thick wedding band.
