Block heel with an ankle strap.  I literally hiked on a mountain in them and my feet never hurt.

I imagine you’ll need a wedge or chunky heel to be able to walk in grass without the heels sinking right in. I did not walk in grass, but I did run around Manhattan in them and found them to be very comfortable. I still break them out because they’re so cute.

happyroo :  my colours were emerald and gold and I made my own shoes from the Shoes of Prey website! I wore mine on grass and it was fine

You can slide on heel protectors before you go out in grass. I haven’t tried them, but they’re just little caps with a wide base that your heels fit into.

I wouldn’t wear them in grass without caps but this is what I think I’m going with.
