I would love to see some other bee’s show off their equine babies!
First I have my main boy Hero!
Hero is a soon to be 14 year old Thoroughbred that I have had for almost 7 years now! He is my first horse and I got him 5 days after his last race. He’s my heart. He is now retired from riding, due to back issues. He’s done his time and now spend his days muching on grass and letting me love on him.
Next up I got my little man Gunner. Gunner is about an 11 year old Quarter Horse. As of now he is my main riding horse. I do trails, barrels, dessage and just pleasure riding with this guy. I’ve had him for one year now. He’s an in your face kind of horse that want’s to always have your attention. I love him to bits
And finally we have John Deere. John Deere is also about an 11 year old. He is a mini horse that we first just got to keep Hero company. I’ve had him about 4 years now. He doesn’t do much, just sits in the pasture causing trouble. Breaking through fences and what not. He gives the occasional pony ride but people tend to stick to riding Gunner. But he’s cute! LOL
Now show me yours!

Technically, she’s a pony, well, a unicorn (obvs), and I share her with the world, but she does love an opportunity to primp for an appreciative admirer. 😉
Your babies are gorgeous!

This is my boy, Bold Stage, he is the love of my life. I have had him for 9 years and he is turning 22 this year 🙂 He is a thoroughbred and your typical highly strung one too! 🙂 He was officially retired in January this year. He ruptured two tendons in his front right 2 years ago, and even though he is sound and has been so since September 2014, I don’t want to risk anything (He is rather loopy when you ride him and very spooky, so I don’t want to do something which may reinjure those tendons). So we just enjoy in-hand walks together, massages, grooming and loads of carrots 🙂 My life would be rather empty without him in it 🙂

This is a lovely thread.
Heres my boy. I’ve had him about 8 years. He’s an ex polo pony and originally from argentina.

Your horses are beautiful. Hero is so gorgeous, he doesn’t even look real. Our property is adjacent to a horse facility and the beautiful horses come up close to our fence for a “chat” and the occasional carrot. I’ve named almost all of them and pretend they are all mine…lol. Biggie and Jett are my favorites..(I know, I need to find better stuff to do with my retirement than posting on the Bee and hanging with my pretend horses).

This is Zip! I got him when he was 3 and now he is 19! He is an AQHA gelding and I showed him throughout high school and college. For the last 8 or so years my mom has been riding him and using him on trails. She always had the horse bug but watched me ride and show for years, so I am glad that she gets to fulfill her passion now! Zip is the sweetest dude and is totally bombproof so he is a blast to take on the trails.

These are my 2 horses. The one on the right is my first horse and the one on the left is her daughter. Both purebred Arabians.
This is my step-dad’s horse. Half quarter horse, half arabian.
This is my mom’s horse. Half quarter horse, half arabian. Him and the buckskin are actually half brothers.
And this is my step-sister’s horse. Purebred quarter horse.
All are kept out at my mom and step-dad’s house 🙂
