Next month is our month, fellow October bees!
That being said, I don’t know about you, but my subconscious is really doing numbers on me lately. The bizarro wedding nightmares have kicked in. These are usually about mundane things that I normally wouldn’t care about, but man, do they make me stressed out in the middle of the night!
A few weeks ago, one nightmare was about whether or not my shoes match the flowers I’m planning to have as a bouquet. This thought has never crossed my mind, and honestly, it’s not even a dilemma at all. But in this dream it was like I had committed the ultimate wedding styling sin and would be forever banished to Ugly Wedding Hell. When I sat up in bed awake from this horror, it took a good ten minutes to calm myself down and realize how ridiculous I was being.
Last night, I dreamed that my reception was held in some mysterious annex building to my actual venue (this annex does not exist in real life). The venue had lied to me or something, and instead of my reception being in the banquet room that it’s going to be in in reality, my reception was in this rundown, dusty room that was not set up at all. Crappy metal chairs were upside down on all the tables, and I was swiping away lots of cobwebs with my arms so my guests wouldn’t see them (in my wedding dress, eek!). I don’t think dinner ever came, either. My guests were unhappy, and I was unhappy, but no one wanted to complain because they thought I had chosen this uncleaned and undecorated empty restaurant annex intentionally.
Anyone else looking forward to this sort of anxiety disappearing after the wedding?

Oh, I had my first wedding nightmare the other night, it was very bizarre. I had a dream that everyone started the procession before I was even in my dress so I had to hurry up and get my dress on, and my veil kept slipping out of my hair, then the dress was too big. When I got to the end of the aisle the groom wasn’t there and instead there was some broadway performance going on with lots of sequins and dancing and I was confused and kept going ‘but this is supposed to be my wedding, this is my wedding day.’ Hopefully the dreams will be good, and not make me even more stressed out!

I’ve had numerous wedding nightmares and dreams and my fiance has also had some. They aren’t terrible really just little silly things like one dream he ended up hating my dress in another i forgot all the flowers and we had to go on without them. Silly but still its making me worried LOL

I recently dreamed that I looked out into the crowd during the ceremony and only about 30 (out of 125) people had come. And then slowly throughout the ceremony one person after another (including my bridal party) just started walking out. I guess this means I’m worried that less people will come than I am hoping.

My dream was that it was a half hour before the ceremony and we were still at home in NY. (we are having a Destination Wedding in FL.). We hadn’t even packed yet for the trip to FL or our honeymoon. I was so upset. I hate wedding dreams like that.

@SweetDeeReynolds: Yeah I think this is my big worry, that all these people are rsvping and just won’t show up. I haven’t had this dream yet, but since it’s on my mind all the time its bound to come up in sleep eventually.

What has been weird about mine are that they are usually something that I need to make a decision on. I have had mines for months now.
