I am going to try to get this on all one thread, maybe multiple posts in the same thread! I hope you enjoy seeing them. We had a great time, lots of laughing, lots of tears. There were some things that went wrong. I tried to choose pictures that were not boring! All pictures are copyright of Brooke Allison Photography, PLEASE do not take them without permission!
We get ready at our respective parent’s houses.
I was lucky enough to have someone I have known, and has been my hair stylist for 8 years now to come and do my hair. That was one of the parts I liked about myself.
I hired another company to come and do the girls hair and makeup, it was their choice for hair. We also had my brother’s girlfriend with us, one of my best friends from 600 miles away, and my sister-in-law.
Here is my gorgeous best friend! She and my brother’s girlfriend decided to get hair and makeup done also. We were running a bit late! Oh well.
Shoes are awesome!
I wore my SIL’s (husband’s sister) necklace that she wore for her sisters wedding as my something borrowed. No pics of that but pics of my gorgeous earrings that matched!
My Mother-In-Law made my garter. It was very special to me, and she also made a throw away one. She got in touch with a man in Ireland who sent her a special coin, and a letter. It was extremely sweet, and actually called her after the wedding to see how we were doing!
Time for me to get dressed!
I still have dress regret, nothing I can do about it now! My mother and my Maid/Matron of Honor (my cousin) helped me get ready. I also forgot to put my crinoline on till after my dress, so it was all bunched up on my ribs and hurt ALL darn day. But I was too happy to notice until the end.
Time for the big reveal!
Ehhhh not so exciting!
Maybe because I was bawling my eyes out! (Darn that hanger) My SIL (brother’s wife) was right there with me, she ended up crying all day. She also had dated my brother since I was a year old (I’m in my mid-twenties). She’s been there with me most of my life.
