Another procrastinating bee here!  It’s my last semester (fifth year senior here), so it’s totally okay.  All my professors are super high energy, so it’s going to be a fun semester!  And my last one!  Hooray!  Finally!

@LaTortuga:  I was going to minor in Spanish, but I didn’t have any room in my schedule.  I’m a double major in accounting and finance.  Super interesting, I know.  The funny thing is now I’m not sure if I want to pursue either of my degrees.  I definitely want to do business though!  Your Judiasm class will definitely be an interesting one!  I love eccentric professors.

NO. BAD BEE. NO PROCRASTINATING ALLOWED!!

😉 kidding

This year I’m DETERMINED to kick the procrastination habit in the ass! I aim for a 4.0 and dammit, I’m gonna get it!

My first day was anti-climactic. I got all dolled up, prepared and excited and… 2 out of 3 of my monday classes were canceled for the day. But no one told us about the 2nd canceled class, so we were hanging around until a professor told us there wouldn’t be any labs at all, not just the first one we knew about.

Sigh! And only one class for me today later in the afternoon!! Very slow beginning this semester, haha.

@Omgbunnies:  Oh no, I hate it when that happens!  Last semester on my first day my first professor didn’t show up.  We sat there for a while, and then someone e-mailed him.  Apparently he didn’t think he had two sections to teach… but we were the first section, and he’s the only one who teaches that class!

I’ve already got some homework done, so I’m not procrastinating too badly!  I think by the time I do two weeks worth of reading and homeworks I’ll have done more this semester than the last two combined.  Oops.

@LaTortuga:  That sounds awesome!  What kind of book are you going to write?

Aaaand… I actually did all my homework tonight!  First time I’ve actually completed accounting homework since my first accounting class.  Embarassed

@LaTortuga:  Ooh, I like it!  That’s a creative twist!  Writing it in Spanish will be really neat.  Not going to lie, I’m kind of jealous!  Yesterday I wrote four pages about audit controls… not nearly as fun or interesting.

This is my first semester of coursework in grad school & I am required to take a course in behavioral observation & interviewing – to get warmed up, the prof asked us each an individual personal question that we had to answer & then talk about how that may come up in an assessment situation and how to handle it. My question was “what is something you really dislike about yourself?” My answer…

I’m a procrastinator!

I should be reading right now, but here I am… 🙂

@MrsWrangler:  You’ll fit right in!  What are you going to grad school for?
