I finally pulled the trigger on my new ring yesterday and I hope it gets here before January is over so I can show it in this thread! I downgraded in size but upgraded in quality: 0.30 ct, K, VS2, 3X round brilliant solitaire.

My engagement ring! I love love love the little details, and the milgrain. It has a rose gold accent underneath and a pink ‘surprise’ sapphire 🙂 Getting the matching wedding band in two weeks, soooo excited!

longtimemrs : James Avery! My goodness I haven’t heard that in ages. I’m from Texas and growing up, getting a James Avery anything put you in the “cool” category. All girls wanted James Avery. Love your new rings!

encorebride41 :  Thanks! I’m from TX, too. We don’t live there now, but both sets of parents and most of our immediate family is still there. My parents live in Kerrville, so I get to visit the original shop a couple times a year. I still love my JA jewelry! =)
