My friend uses were for where. As in: “Were are you?” Lol. Drives me nuts.

Instead of ok, they type back kk.

I use alright but I was informed by my English teacher that alright is not a word, and that its technically all right.

This whole thread is making me laugh my hind end off.

I hate this one; it just boils my blood. I CAN NOT STAND to see WB posts which read, “Sneak Peak”.

I sincerely doubt you’ve got a stealthy mountain top hanging around your wedding. If you have, I apologize. Until the day comes when I see photos of a giant rock just quietly tippy-toeing around, please let your posts read, “Sneak PEEK“!

Just thought of another one: When people say they ‘slept like a baby’ ….

really? So you woke up every 2 hours crying because you pissed yourself?

OMFG, I get annoyed by just about any error you can think of! Homonyms (ex. stationary vs stationery), male/female versions of words (ex. fiance vs fiancee, brunet vs. brunette, blond vs. blonde, etc.), the whole their/they’re/there, to/too/two, and your/you’re controversies…the “alot” (LOVE Hyperbole & A Half, BTW)…and basically everything everyone else has said, LOL!

Oh, and I am an Oxford comma GEEK!

@accorn: My fiance is always using “it’s” as a possessive! >.< I correct his University papers, and it makes me wince every time!

@mightywombat: Every time I see a post on the Bee talking about “going down the isle” I snigger and picture them in a leaky boat. Cures my rage every time, but I still feel twitchy.

@melodicsighs1: Aww, I’m guilty of using “a whole ‘nother” (but, as you can see, I do put the required apostrophe in front of “nother”, in order to justify it).

@LMD84: I seriously cannot stop laughing at the title! Have you read the book “Eats, Shoots and Leaves”? It is HILLARIOUS!

@HappilyEverAfter54:

“A lot has always been *clap clap* a lot of words,

I don’t know which onr of you thought that they should merge

but ‘a’ is talking quantity and ‘l-o-t-‘s a noun

so it’s always spelt like two words no matter how it sounds.”
