Don’t remind me, way way way too much to do.  I am really glad we chose to move it to this year, gave me a whole other year to procrastinate.

@tksjewelry: I know… everyone kept telling me “Wow, you have so much time, that’s going to be too long to wait, blah, blah, blah…”

Well look what’s just 7 months away! It frustrates me there are so many things that can’t be done until it’s closer. Grrrr.

Great thread!

1) I love to host very elaborate dinner parties!- (love to cook/bake)

2) I am an astrology-junkie. Love to learn about astrological charts, etc.

3) I would rather eat lentils all week and be able to buy a ridiculously expensive piece of clothing or pair of shoes…hey, I have priorities.

4) Favorite Skakepseare play is King Lear

5) I would rather be attacked by a bear than eat baby corn or ketchup!

@Evie19: Oh I LOVE baby corn! When we were little my borther and I used to do like Tom Hanks did in the movie ‘BIG’ and eat it like a regular corn on the cob…lol

@Mrs.tobe: You have plenty of time. My entire engagement was 7 months (and I couldn’t even start with planning until 6 months away because we got engaged right before Thanksgiving. I always felt so behind because a friend of mine got engaged before, married after, and was always so far ahead of me. Everything got done, though. πŸ™‚

@Mrs.tobe: Haha, that’s funny! Actually, the first day I met my college roomate, we went to the cafeteria together and she actually dipped baby corn into ketchup…I was worried it was a bad sign, but we are actually still great friends! πŸ˜‰

@discgirl: I’m sure you will be great at it! You don’t need a big space to do it though…it can be for 2 other guests, but as long as the food and decor is elaborate…it’s elaborate! πŸ™‚

@Evie19: Yeah, we live abroad right now, so we don’t know anyone! We also only have places for 2 chairs at our tiny table. We’re moving back to the States in August and will know people and have a little more room. While we are over here, I am cooking a lot though, and so far my husband enjoys being the guinea pig and getting to try new and made up recipes.

@discgirl: Aw, thanks for the pep talk and sharing your experience. It just feels never-ending. And I tend to get a little burned out from time to time.

2) I am a Die-hard Lord of the Rings fan… Watched them all at least 10 times EACH.

3) I love flying – the feeling of taking off is just exhilirating πŸ™‚

5) I’m such a sweet-a-holic, like, extreme!!! Can’t go a day without something sweet to eat… Who knows why I’m not the size of a house?!?!?!

@SmilingBride: I love flying, too, but mainly b/c I can sit there and read or do absolutely nothing without feeling guilty that I should be doing something else… yes, I know it is ridiculous!
