Mine’s not exactly rude, just sort of mean. I’m getting very sick of hearing my roommate complaining about cleaning. She cleans other people’s messes when no one asked her to, and then complains all day about it. Pro tip: stay in your room if messes bother you but you don’t want to clean.

ETA: Oh, one more. Fiance just texted me like “Can we have a NICE dinner tonight?” O.o we had nachos last night because we were both too lazy to cook, but his text implies it’s my fault. Grr…

Rude thoughts? I’m aggravated with my Future In-Laws. They brought up the fact that we were all going on a cruise around Christmas. Well, we just found out that it’s just the two of them going. Fantastic. Thanks for getting my hopes up.

It took my husband 45 minutes to activate his credit card. I did mine (same one) in about 30 seconds. I was pretty irritated. ๐Ÿ™‚

Calling me a “baby hater” because I don’t want to have a biological child (we want to adopt) is not classy at all. Certain friends need to knock it off.

@Mrs Grape: woah! seriously, that is overstepping boundaries! I can’t believe someone would say that to you! What is wrong with adpoting? i think that’s pretty admirable actually, there are so many children in the world who need homes already, good for you. Sorry your “friend” is being like that!

@Mrs Grape: Completely uncalled for.  So sorry to hear people have to say such rude things about something so selfless.  You’re the bigger person in the end.

I’ve gotten used to it–it’s the norm around here, it seems, to get married and then have a biological child. I have a good friend who is choosing to be childless (for now) and will probably eventually adopt, too. It’s true that babies aren’t my favorite thing in the world and I prefer older kids, as does DH–which is why we’re planning to foster and/or adopt in the future. *Shrug* It’s just annoying as all hell to be expected to have a baby.
