Bees, we all know this TTC process isn’t something we go through alone. We have good men, partners, spouses, etc. that help us keep it together. We talk so much about our own bodies and our doctors and all the things we experience, but I wanted to take a second to give some serious love to my Darling Husband. He has been totally understanding and flexible through this process, and I’m starting to see more and more about how excited he is. Last night as I was organizing a room in the house, I went to put something away in a cabinet and discovered a bag from a Pea in the Pod. I thought it was a maternity store, but wasn’t sure. Turns out I found a Christmas gift from Darling Husband that was stashed away — my first maternity shirt!
We aren’t pregnant (yet, we’re in the TWW) but I thought it was such a sweet gesture and it made my heart swell.
What kind, sweet gestures have your SOs done for you through TTC?

@mrspitcher8: We are now 15 weeks pregnant, but I hope it’s still okay to add my two cents! I never pictured Darling Husband to be as mushy and excited as he is. He is constantly kissing my belly and talking to the baby. He is also very protective and always makes sure that I have what I need. My Darling Husband is not a very emotional or sentimental person so it’s very neat to see this side of him. Good luck this month! FX for you 🙂

@Mrs.H2B: I LOVE this, and of course your two cents are welcomed 🙂 Thanks for the luck! I’m 5DPO, so here’s hoping I can wait to test!

@mrspitcher8: It’s so hard isn’t it? I started around 8dpo but didn’t get my (very faint) BFP until 11dpo. More of an obvious one at 12 dpo. It’s a killer wait.

@mrspitcher8: Just wanted to say that is super sweet. Sometimes men can surprise us with how much they actually do care when we think they aren’t very interested. I’m finding that our with pregnancy. I keep thinking Darling Husband isn’t that interested in feeling baby move yet because he gets tired of placing his hand on my belly and trying to feel him move, but Darling Husband also sits on You Tube every night and looks up videos of babies moving at 21+ weeks along. So he is interested.

@mrspitcher8: This is such a great thread 🙂 How incredibly sweet of your DH! Baby dust to you!
We are currently TTC (after a MC in Sept ) and we had really good timing this month so I have a good feeling! I’m 8-9 dpo so waiting to test. The other day we were Christmas shopping at the mall and we walked by a new baby store that just opened. Darling Husband insisted we go in to look around. He proceeded to spend the next 20 minutes trying out all the strollers and picking out his favorite nursery furniture. I could tell that he was genuinely having a good time and it just warmed my heart to see him embracing the daddy roll. 🙂

@mrspitcher8: So cute! Can’t you just picture how excited yet confused he was in that store? I bet those salespeople were VERY impressed!
We’re still TTC, but I told Darling Husband when I ovulated and we missed my O day. I was shocked and humbled at how upset he was. It was my first sign that he wants this as much as I do (Of course we talk about it but sometimes seeing is believing!)

Love this thread 🙂 We are about to start TTC and I am half-convinced that my Fiance is gonna lose his nerve and pull out (no pun intended)! But I know when we get that BFP he is going to be so excited and into it!
