Usually I cook, but if we do bacon and eggs on a weekend that’s him. He also loves cooking curries with me, and there are a couple dishes I refuse to do because he is better.

I cook because I’m a housewife. Once in a while, my husband will cook but that is rare.

I cook most  of the time, I love it. I have recently become obsessed with French food (specifically anything Juila Child!)

I do the cooking. I love cooking and trying new recipes out so it works. Love him to death but he’s no help in the kitchen!

During the week, it’s usually me, since I get home from work earlier. During the weekend, I’ll tend to make breakfast/brunch and he makes dinner.

Almost always me – I’m usually home first so it makes sense.  Having said that, Darling Husband makes a mean risotto and if we use the BBQ that’s his domain generally!

He cooks most of the time because he loves it. I’ll cook on occasion, maybe once or twice a week.

Darling Husband has always enjoyed cooking meals, so he does the bulk of that.

I do 99.9% of the cooking. The last time my husband cooked me dinner was for our anniversary in 2014, haha. Since then, I think he’s made me a couple PBJs and scrambled a few eggs. He has many, many merits and is a wonderful husband, but watching him work in the kitchen is like watching an awkward baby animal take its first steps. Plus, he uses way too many utensils and cookware pieces, and they never get put back where they belong. Bless him.

ETA: Anytime we grill out burgers or chicken he takes the reins, I almost lost my eyebrows once so I don’t go near the gas grill anymore.

I really love cooking. I like using my crockpot, batch cooking so there are several meals worth at one time and can freeze some for later. Its also such a money saver, there is no other way for us to make it through right now. I really don’t like to cook with him, we just have different ideas on what to do. I’ll ask him to cook once in awhile. I’m definitely not gourmet but I get by. I love using spices, sneaking veggies/healthier ingredients into comfort foods, and making healthy treats.

This year I am trying to do less meat to save money so I am doing veggies for my lunches. I get sick of salads so I’ve been making very hearty lunches so far. 3 bean chili, veggie lasagna, lentil curry…..super yummy and all make in a crockpot!! My favorite kitchen appliance!!!

My boyfriend does.

we usually decide together what we feel like eating. Usually he happily wants to go with whatever I suggest.

We prep together and he cooks the meal. but i need his direction even for most of the prep. I’m actually not very comfortable with cooking! I wish I was!
