Also your ring is beautiful. Don’t let those other rings get you down. Yours is a snapshot in time of where you and your Darling Husband were when you got engaged.

oxstardust421xo :  ill play, here’s mine, 1/4 ct total. I love my ring, I wouldn’t want anything bigger, I think my ring is the perfect size 😍

oxstardust421xo :  thank you! Your ring is gorgeous too! I love the leaf shaped side settings. Personally im not a fan of large stones in rings, I hate height in settings and I don’t really get the finger coverage from the stone/setting thing….you get way better actual coverage from a wider shank and stacking bands, some people on here have e-rings so big you can barely see thier wedding band and any other rings on thier finger. I’m not into that. You know what would probably make you feel better though? A stacking band or eternity ring. I found a garnet and silver one that I love on Etsy for only $30 that will replace my green jade ring when it arrives. Genuine gemstones are so much cheaper from sellers from India than from anywhere else for some reason.

oxstardust421xo :  this one in Etsy is nice https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/532959652/ruby-eternity-ring

Garnet is my birthstone, my husband was born in October so his birthstone is either pink tourmaline, which I don’t particularly like, or opal which I love but which is not sturdy enough for everyday wear, and I never remove my rings. You could just get something in your favorite color, I don’t think it needs to be anyone’s birthstone. Hers the ring I’m waiting for, they have the same one in blue topax, and multi-gem. I just love the style. It looks big in the picture but it’ only 3mm wide

oxstardust421xo :  mine is a 0.3 ct antique oval diamond solitaire πŸ™‚ thats standard or large in Sweden (though most people choose plain gold or eternity over solitaire)
