@ivoryowl:  As a guest, all I ever want to know is the order of events so I can gauge how long the ceremony will be and what to else to expect. I spent a total of $2.50 on all of my programs — just small, flat note cards with printing on each side. (Ceremony details, thanks, wedding party names, etc.) Wouldn’t have spent a dime more as they were glanced at and then tossed into the trash at the end of the night.

Mine were simple double-sided rack cards from Vistaprint (I designed and uploaded them). I enjoyed having them – as a guest, I’m always interested to know what is going to happen and how the wedding party is related to the bride and groom.

We sat them standing up on the chairs instead of having them handed out (we didn’t have ushers).

@ivoryowl:  The Fiance made these. We printed them for free at his work (had boss’s permission)

here are mine, we did the fan DIY template, I loved them! Non pro pic with bad lighting, but it’s navy ink.

I made mine.  I definitely did not want to spend any money on the programs because I feel like they will just get thrown out anyway.  Even a dollar each was too much for me.  I made mine from stock card backing, shiny printing paper, top off with vellum paper for effect.  Attached the papers with cheap ribbon matching my color.  I made 150 programs in one day.  I spent about 30 dollars for the papers, ribbons, and 99 cent hole puncher.

This is a picture that one of our guests took.

@NAvery:  love your recessional song! Ours was Linus and Lucy the Peanuts/Charlie Brown Christmas song.

@ivoryowl:  You can’t see it in my pic but 2nd page, we had the pertinent info:

 Bridesmaids Processional

 Canon In D Major

 Bridal Processional

 Bridal Chorus

 Scripture (I Corinthians 13)
 The Meaning Of Marriage
 Exchange of Vows

 Exchange of Rings
 Declaration of Marriage

 Wedding Prayer

 Linus & Lucy (Peanuts Theme)
 (Vince Guaraldi)

Then the 3rd page was our Bridal Party, 4th page was an In Loving Memory page, mainly focused on his late father who passed away 8 months before our wedding, but also to remember a close friend of mine who passed suddenly a few months before–many of our childhood friends were there including his fiancee (why isn’t there a name for a widowed fiancee?).
