I’ve got several diamond rings set in sterling silver, and have seen quite a few of them online as well. Like a previous poster said, I think it depends largely on the strength and quality of the silver, and how it’s cared for. Mine are cluster type settings, but I have seen even large stones set in silver, and the reviews left by the purchasers are nearly all positive. I’ve also had no problems with mine like stones falling out or tarnishing, so I’ve been fortunate as well I suppose, considering some of the stories I’ve read here about bad fortune with silver rings. Actually, the only rings I’ve ever had diamonds fall out of have been gold. Go figure, lol!
.5ctw in sterling silver, have owned and worn often for quite a while.
I no longer have this one but I really liked it, it is in sterling silver also, and also a half carat tdw.
The band on the bottom is sterling silver
Sorry for the picture overload, but I just love silver, and think it can be underappreciated, this is my cz marquise in ss from Berricle.
Finally, my emerald cut aquamarine with white topaz side stones set in sterling silver, of course, lol! 😀
