Ooh that’s a toughie.. I think it’s the “HTML” icon in the message bar..? Then copy and paste a link? Lemme try one haha.
He had it in his head for a long time that a solitaire would be perfect, and I never liked them! At the store though, I fell in love and although we went to choose a ring together, I wound up choosing what he was always going to get me anyways.
SO really liked this.
I’m not a fan of antique settings, so I chose this.
My fiance’ had mine customed made. It is a 1.6 ct ice blue sapphire with 26 round diamonds on the band with antique engravings. We wanted something different and unique from all of our family and friends so we went with a sapphire.
Here are some detail photos he took while deciding on which color sapphire to get.
Here it is! I can’t seem to capture a decent picture of it though. The lighting is always a bit off. And to answer the question, I had given Fiance an idea of what liked but he custom designed this on his own. We have very similar taste so I’m sure even if I hadn’t told him what I liked, he would’ve gotten me something similar. The only real instruction that he had to follow was it had to be made of a hypoallergenic metal as I’m horribly allergic to nickel and have mental sensitivities in general.
Ooooh pretty. What metal did he choose? Platinum and palladium are both hypoallergenic, I think, but don’t quote me on that…
I gave my fiance (very specific and detailed!) input on what I wanted in my e-ring. We first went shopping together and looked at various types of shapes and I knew I wanted a cushion. He knew the various specs I wanted and I know he went through over 40 diamonds at good old gold before he ended up with my diamond. 🙂 I also sent him pictures of the type of setting I wanted – something simple with pave diamonds. I am so happy with my ring!!!
