  • poll: Who chose your ring? (choose all that apply)

SO chose it all by himself/herself.

I gave SO an idea of what to choose.

    I custom designed a ring.

SO custom designed a ring and gave it to me.

    My ring is an heirloom.

SO and I worked together to rework an existing ring or stone.

SO reworked an existing stone or ring and surprised me with it.

    Other, please explain below.

    We chose a ring together.

These are my thoughts on it… Although I get the whole “surprise” factor, I would just urge any of the men who may be on the bee to find out what your girlfriend likes before buying her a ring. I would definitely not recommend designing one for her on your own because although it turns out well some of the time, I just could not IMAGINE what I would’ve done if my SO had designed a ring that I didn’t actually like. Women wear those rings forever! I just think it’s great when men want to make sure that their future wives love what they wear.

We chose my ring together, I saw the heart shaped prongs from MoissyCo and fell in love, and he chose between the 2 rings with heart shaped prongs.

Love the rings ladies. My SO and I went all out and looked at tons of rings together. I showed him my top 3. He picked something on his own. I am getting a new ring at the wedding. Do I need to say more?

My fiance picked my ring all by himself.  I had zero input, which is actually how I think it should be.  I personally feel that he should know me well enough to pick out something I’d love.  I always thought I’d like a princess cut solitaire, which is what he says he looked at first.  But he says as soon as he saw this ring, he knew it was the right one, and I completely agree.  I had never even thought that I’d like diamonds in the band, but I actually love it.  He managed to find me a ring that I like even MORE than my dream ring, and I think it’s absolutely perfect.

I said I didn’t want a diamond centre stone and absolutely no round stones and didn’t want a fat band… he had the ring custom designed and I looove it!

My fiance and I picked our rings together. He once tried to tell me some ugg clogs were cute…and of course they were NOT! So I’m glad he pretty much let me get what I wanted. 3 more weeks until I get my actual ring but this is what it will look like. James Allen setting.
