Please disregard our SUPREMELY boring walls, we’ve just moved and I haven’t had a chance to have my artwork framed and hung yet!

This is a picture of our tree last year but we decorate it the same each year haha ๐Ÿ˜‰ We bought this tree during our senior year of highschool (2008) and brought it with us when we moved our of our parents’ houses a year later. Someday we’ll get something bigger, but it fits in our condo perfectly and I think it’s really pretty (:

I got this tree my first year of University, its like third hand and it’s so funny! It’s like a fake Charlie Brown tree, only I don’t think its supposed to be… it’s just in rough shape ๐Ÿ˜› We chuckle about it a lot, and every year we say we’re going to buy a new one but ultimately don’t because we don’t spend Christmas Eve/Day etc. at our house, anyway! (We split between my parents and his – we don’t live in the same town as either of them.)

ETA: That’s Fiance giving it a big ol thumbs up! I decorated it while he was asleep one day (he works shift work) and I guess he liked it lol.

I would love a real one, but we have a little fake one… we’re going away for month over Christmas so this is a lot easier to deal with.

This may be my Favorite thread now. Christmas is my favorite!! My Fiance and I collect ornaments every trip we go on. Mostly Disneyland ones on the tree now, some from other Cali places too, but its a tradition my family did when I was growing up so I love being able to have a tradition with him!

Jealous of the real trees.  We usually do real, but we have a lot of traveling going on between Christmas and New Years and I don’t want to come home to a bone dry, dead trunk of needles. So, I pulled this old fake one out of the attic & it’ll have to suffice for this year.

We just started buying real trees last year and I will never go back to fake. All the silver branches in my tree I got from my yard, spray painted them silver, and they were the last decors items to go in my tree. I was going for a rustic feel. ๐Ÿ™‚
