Hey bees!
I am currently waiting, but I have already picked out my ring (Nordic Light from Birks).
I’d love to see your compass set rings while I wait to receive my own! I’m hoping to see some of the round stones out there if possible.
Here is the ring I am waiting on:

…aaaaaand go! Hehe

Random question – do you think if you have a kite set square, that the accompanying wedding band should also have a square bend to it, or do you think a rounded-type halo would be just fine?

smudgie : wow I love that, looks so delicate!
nelliemade : hmm, I am not 100% sure I understand what you mean, but I think a rounded band would work fine in my opinion although I am not drawn to square cuts so I hadn’t really given it much thought before! I would say it depends more on the band of your e-ring than the actual stone’s setting.

I guess mine is more of a kite setting rather than a compass

pizzacat : I think some people use the term interchangeably, but I think kite set is square stones and compass is round, so you are probably technically a compass despite the slightly square edge to your halo 🙂 Either way, I LOVE your ring it is stunning.
