Not too showy or big, but I think that the stone looks more beautiful without the halo detracting from it. Pears just have such a unique beauty that I think the halo takes away from their beauty.

@Firework:  The bowtie actually really doesn’t bother me. I thought it would but I just love pears so told fi that was my top choice as far as shape and risked it anyway. Honestly it depends on the lighting for whether or not I even see it, and I really don’t mind it when I do lol. Its usually much darker in some pics than real life.

@itsm0nique:  Beautiful. I have always loved pear shapes, they are very feminine, unique and classy. He did good 😉

These pears are all gorgeous! My engagement stone is a pear also, but the setting is being custom made and will be a few weeks until its completed, then until whenever b/f decides to present it but I will be sure to come back & post pics when it’s finished & mine. It is going to be a truly one of a kind ring, and I cannot wait.

I LOVE my pear halo. I get a lot of compliments on it, but also nearly a year on I cannot stop staring at it. People were originally surprised by my choice of ring, but my mum admitted she could not think of a ring that better fits  my personality. My suggestion for buying a pear diamond though is to go smaller and get one without a bow tie (or a lighter bow tie) than to get a bigger one and have a black line stare at you!
