I have pear shaped side stones rather than a pear centre stone:

Beautiful rings on this thread (and some seriously gorgeous rocks!) 🙂

<3<3<3<3<3 this thread! I don’t have a pear, but that is what I originally wanted. The rings on this thread are AH-MAY-ZING.

This isn’t mine, except in my dreams. A pink diamond pear. Thought I’d share because I want to play too

I am not sure why all my pictures are turning to the side… but here is mine. .40ct F VS1 pear in a FVS1 double halo mount. Vintage milgrain detail on the ring and band closest to my heart. About 1.5ct total with one band and 1.75ct total with two bands.

Firework:  I think your pear is fabulous. By The Way – in response to your poll – I think ring size is a matter of personal preference, lifestyle and budget. Who really cares what anyone else thinks? I don’t! If you like it and have the confidence to wear it, good for you! If YOU feel uncomfortable… then it is too large. I hope all Bee’s wear their rings (large, small, in between, diamond, moissy, gemstone) in good health.

MeelaMay:  in my next life, that is my engagement ring. SO gorgeous. i would have wanted a pear diamond as my first choice. however, i am currently wearing my FI’s late mother’s round brilliant stone (in a double halo) which means the world to him. so, i will wait til my next life for that ring haha

Pears are my FAVORITE stone. I wanted a halo, but couldn’t afford one at the time I got it. Then, I decided I wanted a moissanite and had heard a pear in moissanite could look worse than their round stones. I decided to go with forever brilliant round and I adore it. But – honestly – pears are my favorite shape!
