Since you’ve had no replies, I’ll post my old ering. No longer engaged but I always found that ring beautiful. It’s a little bigger than what you wanted to see. 7×7 on a 6.5 finger. I won’t lie, after having it a while I did wish it were a tad bigger ๐Ÿ˜†

so 7×7 is really only part of the measurements. For example that size cushion will appear smaller than a 7mm round, simply because of how cushions are cut, they carry their weight in the bottom. It also depend on the gemstone since they’re not all cut the same. Sapphire for example are deeper. So, without having all the measurements and knowing the kind of gemstone it is hard to accurately say…

the way it looks will also depend on the shape and length of your fingers. Letting my nails grow out alone makes a difference on how it wohms look – hope that makes sense.

I am a size 6 and have a 8.5mm cushion and have never felt it was too large. I know you’re looking at smaller sizes, but just for comparison sake a cushion does look smaller than a round and you can get away with larger sizes. Or whatever you’re comfortable with. Shrinkage is very real
