cuppatime : I’ve had that shop favored for along time, their stuff is so beautiful! I don’t know a lot about trillions but maybe they face up larger than some other shapes. A bezel also will help make a stone look larger. It looks absolutely perfect on you, can’t wait to see what you choose as a wedding band!

misschic94 : I agree with a PP that yellow gold suits your skin tone perfectly.

Today is a dainty wedding ring kind of day

Here’s mine, approx 1/4 ct total, .2 center. I would expect the carat weight and low setting put it in the dainty catagory here.
I do think that the truly huge rings that you see on here can skew some people’s perspectives though. I remember a few years back when one of my best friends had a petty moment and flaunted her .25ct engagement ring at an aquaintence who had the same style ring in the .15ct version(yes i told her she was bwing rude and tacky)…..maybe it’s just the difference of small town Nova Scotia vs big cities, it’s just wierd to me how large a percentage of people on here consider 1/4 carat to be small when I am used it being considered the larger size of average (1/2ct would be considered big and 1ct honking)

Although not my engagement ring, this is a lovely RHR for me. Vintage, and I just got it sized this week! It has a .33 OEC diamond with little diamond side stones.

My vintage .46 round brilliant from the 1940’s. I love the combo of white and yellow gold and the tiny fishtail prongs. I wear this one regularly and it is just so comfy and perfect.

cuppatime : Wowww! I love that design. So beautiful
bridetobe2018 : Thank you so much! 🙂 I think so too.
glitterandshine : Aw! I love your three stone.
araebo5585 : This is so pretty! Where did you get your band from?

framarianna : Thank you 🙂 I guess I never really realized it but I see what you mean now looking at the picture. I love your combo of the white and yellow gold.
nykkee : Oh yes, I do agree with you. My ring is the perfect size to me and I think it’s flattering to my hand.. I think anything bigger than 1/2 carat would be overpowering.

The wedding band is 1/10 of a carat in 14k white gold from Glen Peter jewelers. The engagement ring is from diamond nexus 🙂

I’m not sure about band size but the stone is just under .5 carat, size 6 finger 🙂

misschic94 : I was just telling my Maid/Matron of Honor the other day that I kind of wish I had asked for a yellow gold band, and your picture kind of just solidified that! Your ring is gorgeous!

bellabee16 : Thank you. I’m sure you’ll be seeing alot more of this ring when it’s permanently on my finger!

msmeow13 : Aw thank you! 🙂 I was kind of iffy about the yellow gold when I first got it because it seems white gold is a lot more popular but it has grown on me so much!
