@SuzySchmoozy:  Thanks!  It is an heirloom (3.2 carats).  We had it reset (took the design from tiffany =P).  I love it!  Hoping a channel set band will go under it.  I love your ring too! I think Marquise is making a comeback!

@Marquise123:  Could you post a profile shot? I’d love to see how high you’ve got it set. My straight wedding band sits flush, because my diamond is set so high–yours must be super high up to be able to slide a band underneath it.

@SuzySchmoozy:  Here is a pic from the side.  I actually dont know what I am going to do with the wedding band, since the setting is actually huge itself… but the ring is a little big on me, and when I push it up, I actually think I can fit a band in… not sure if that will look weird though?

Can I see yours with your wedding band?  🙂

@Marquise123 mine actually sits almost exactly like yours; the setting rests directly on my finger! I toyed around with the idea of doing a right-hand wedding band because I didn’t think that I could find a band to go with my e-ring but exactly like you said, there are some bands that are small enoughto slide under and that’s what I’m gonna do! I just love the idea of a wedding band with e-ring, I will suffer the consequences of other people thinking it looks weird haha! The band fits under but it also moves a little; so I will post pics of a couple angles so you can get a feel for whether you like it or not. See below (pic heavy):

I didn’t think I wanted a marquise either, but my fiance took a ring from my family and one from his and had them broken down, he then designed and had built my beautiful ring which I LOVE!
