@jaglynn17: I do but the model looks waaay better! 🙂  That’s not my actual dress, just the sample I tried on at the store. I ordered my dress in Diamond White. Sorry for the huge pic, not sure how to make it smaller.

Awww, thanks @jaqlynn17 and @dpham67! I can’t wait to see what my seamstress dreams up – I’m pairing some purple shoes with that dress, a birdcage veil and hair flower fascinator, chunky pearl necklace and pearl drop earrings… very “old hollywood”… we’re arriving in a 1939 Cadillac Limo, before heading to our very 1980’s Nintendo Reception!!!

@HotPinkPopTart – I almost got that dress too! The ladies at the bridal shop that I went to said that they have seen several girls alter that neckline to a sweetheart and that it is a Really easy fix!

@tatsmom: I agree with you about the mantilla veil. The consultant put one on me while I had the AA dress on and it looked great. I had always planned on not wearing a veil but thanks to her now it’s back on my “to think about” list…haha!

@sarindipity – I loved that dress when I saw it, I bought another one as nobody had yours in my state.  But when you get pics of you in it, you should definitely post them!  Congrats!

Here’s a pic of me trying the dress on for the first time.  It’s not the color I’ll be getting.  I’m going to get the Ivory Satin with Ivory Lace overlay.  The picture shows the Oyster Dress with Lilac Overlay.

My trumpet-its really not a very dramatic trumpet/mermaid shape but I think we’re going to put a crinolin underneath at the knees to get some more poof.
