Yes, I think ruffles are beautiful, flowy, and romantic.  And photogenic!  I love those Jim Hjelm dresses.  I was considering 2 dresses with ruffles, but ultimately I got something with no ruffles.

I love them. I found this dress I wanted so bad, but there were some ruffles on the chest, and since I’m already bigger busted it looked insane. However, I wish it would have worked out, because I adore this trend.

This dress is by James Clifford, who is actually Jim Hjelm. I love it and can’t wait to make it mine this weekend!!  When I tried it on this past Saturday I knew this was the one!  I’m not a crier, but we all cried when I said yes, I love it and this is my dress!

I don’t have pictures of me in this dress yet, but I am returning to the store this weekend to buy it, and will then have pictures to post.  It is so pretty in person!  This picture is from the runway show and is the best picture on a model I could find that shows what the dress looks like in person and when it is on…the picture on the James Clifford site does not do justice to this beautiful dress.

My dress has a simple tiered design, which I love. It’s romantic and girly without being too over the top.
