This isn’t mine, but it was a wedding my mom helped out with! They were going rustic, but you could use the same idea with different fabric. They wrapped burlap over the pew and tied a bundle of calla lillies and curly willow in a large bow. You could also just use a simple knot. =) Good luck!

I don’t have pictures but my cousin strung little white candle lanterns on satin ribbons and hung them on the ends of the pews, with a lit votive candle in each lantern – very pretty!. If you didn’t want lit candles, there are tiny battery operated votive candles. I know she was on a budget, so those pew decorations must have been no more than $5 each. You can google small white lantern and small votive lantern to see some.

I am planning to use 24 inch long satin and organza bows at my wedding. You can find them online in a variety of colors and prices from $5 to $20, or you can go to a craft store like Michael’s to see about having bows made.

Ask some florists if they have recommendations that are in your budget. A simple flower or some greenery or a small posy of silk flowers tied up in tulle or satin shouldn’t be much.

I went to Big Lots and found 4″ round grapevine balls. ($8 for 4) I’m turning them into pomanders. I’m going to attach, with a glue gun, a few fall flowers. Then attach a nice satin brown ribbon. I actually saw something at Michaels that I’m thinking about attaching as well. They had monarch butterflies and I think I’m going to attach one on each pomander. Super simple and very inexpensive!
