Plain and simple, let’s see your tattoos!
I’ve currently got two.
On my right calf I have “Whether it fades out or crashes away, every song ends. Is that any reason not to enjoy the music?”
(It wraps around my ankle so it’s really hard to take a picture of it, but here’s a picture of my sisters, as hers is the same, but on her back. My sister and I got these together a few years ago. I’ll include a picture where you can see it on my leg)
You can see mine on my leg in this photo
And then I have this one, which I just got done in July. It’s a memorial piece for my step mom, it’s an elephant and a pocket watch. Every part of it has meaning, including the colors, the time on the watch, the placement of the elephant and the broken chain. It’s on my left thigh

My third tattoo is on my right leg. It’s the word love with the O as a peace sign. I seriously want more ink so badly.

They are both beautiful.
I have these, mine are all pink and black:
scorpion on my ankle
this little one is on my neck
this covers most of my back
these are on my arms
my sons name on my wrist

@HappilyEverAfter54: I like your ribbon back, so cool with it being looped through the “skin” And my Fiance has his son’s name written on the side of his neck in Japanese characters. (And he is Native Indian… go figure!)
As for me, I have no tattoos.

I am getting the one on my neck covered up with something like this:
and I plan to get full black wings on my back around the corset tattoo like this:
It’s been 2 years since my last one though so I’m going to get a small one to jump back in I’m thinking [carpe noctem] written on my other ankle with stars in the shape of the scorpio contellation connected with black light ink.
this with the scorpio stars wayyyy smaller around the carpe noctem words if that makes sense. I hope to be getting these all started really soon.

@happyface: thank you! I wanted the real thing for a long time with the piercings but I hate needles so I couldn’t work up the nerve to do it. I figured a tattoo is more permanent and I’m not scared to get a tat so why not just make it look likee the piercing? I love it!

I love the wings. One of the girls I play roller derby with just got wings done, and hers look amazing.
I’ve got a few more planned. I’m getting a koi fish on my right thigh; a peacock on my back and side; and then one for my mom and my dad. I haven’t completely figured how I’m going to have them. I’m either going to do an anatomical heart, with a daffydl growing out of it one direction, and a sunflower growin out the other, with a mom and dad banner above them- or I’m going to do each flower on either side of my leg, the sunflower with a compass under it and the words “So You can Always find your way home” and the daffodyl with a soccer ball (or something else, again still a rough idea) and the words “I’m the Whisper In The wind”.
Then, my brother and I are going to get what looks like cuts on the top of our foot, and the cust will have a soccer ball pattern coming through them.
So i got a few more planned haha. And eventually I’d like to get the words “if life won’t wait, I guess it’s up to you”, but I can’t decide where or how, and since getting my longer text tattoo, I know I don’t just want a plain text tattoo.
I’ve got lots planned! I’m addicted!

I have this lion below my left shoulder. It symbolizes courage and mainly represents my strength as a survivor of DV and who I am today. It was a very dark time in my life so it means so much.
I actually have another one i had done years back and plan to get a few more. Love tattoos!!

These are mine!
The top one is a sparrow with a breast cancer ribbon in its mouth. My aunt passed away from breast cancer when I was 10 years old, and she had given me a sparrow necklace when I was really young, I still have it.
The second is part of the Celtic tree of life in memory of my friend Brett who passed away when we were 14 years old while we were snowboarding. He died in an avalache. I left it to part of the tree of life because he was so young when he left the world.
However, I’m getting the tree of life covered up in the near future and getting a rose and then some other Irish stuff that goes up my side. The lines in the tattoo are really messed up and she didn’t do a good job at all.

I got this one a few months ago. It’s in my mom’s handwriting. She passed away about two and a half years ago. The little faces are our family, It’s Mom,Lauren, Brubby (that’s what I used to call my brother), and Dad
