Lets seem em Ladies… Your first ring and your now ring. I thought this was funny because I have had many rings over the 9 years of marriage and it seems I have come full circle LOL. To be honest I LOVED my first ring so much, it just so happened to be very low quality. I made a ton of moves and a few mistakes, but I finally have a set that I am beyond in love with. Its just funny that it happens to be almost identical in concept to my original. Lets see your “Then and Nows” 🙂 P.s. Same old Movado, different rings and an older chubbier hand
Also, if you have your original as your now ring, lets see it too. 🙂 Cheers to a new year my loves.

I’m like you haha, seems like I have changed my rings a thousand times. In the end what matters is we are happy with our choice 😊. Both your sets are gorgeous.

We traded my original ring when I got an upgrade. It was just a 1.1ct round solitaire setting. And my next ring was a pear diamond:
But then I discovered halos!

Pretty similar. 🙂 First was an heirloom stone; second is my own pick (for our 5 year wedding anniversary). 2012 and now!

Because I’m old, I don’t have any digital images of my first ring. This is a photo of a photo, so not great quality.
Got this ring made just over a year ago.

I am dying ladies! You all KNOW how I roll, typically I would love to do an individual response to everyone. And perhaps later I will. Today is my first day of NURSING SCHOOL AHHHHHHHHH. So I am swamped but I had to log on and take a break. LOVING everyone’s before and afters! xoxo

And my upgrade:
My first wedding ring is a yellow gold .33 carat Marquise diamond with diamond side stones, .50ctw in all. (I don’t wear my engagement ring. We were a bit untraditional in that my “big diamond” is in the wedding ring itself and I don’t have a band.) My upgrade is a 6.5mm moissanite 3 stone ring with two 4mm sapphire side stones in a trellis setting. Some may think it’s funny that I “upgraded” to a moissanite but I’ve been very happy with it and it checks all the points I was dissatisfied on– lack of sparkle, body color and inclusions, and yellow gold vs white gold.
