I’m like you haha, seems like I have changed my rings a thousand times. In the end what matters is we are happy with our choice 😊.  Both your sets are gorgeous.

We traded my original ring when I got an upgrade. It was just a 1.1ct round solitaire setting. And my next ring was a pear diamond:

But then I discovered halos!

tbenjamin4884 :  Pretty similar. πŸ™‚ First was an heirloom stone; second is my own pick (for our 5 year wedding anniversary). 2012 and now!

Because I’m old, I don’t have any digital images of my first ring. This is a photo of a photo, so not great quality.

Got this ring made just over a year ago.

And my upgrade:

20191227_160714-01

My first wedding ring is a yellow gold .33 carat Marquise diamond with diamond side stones, .50ctw in all. (I don’t wear my engagement ring. We were a bit untraditional in that my “big diamond” is in the wedding ring itself and I don’t have a band.) My upgrade is a 6.5mm moissanite 3 stone ring with two 4mm sapphire side stones in a trellis setting. Some may think it’s funny that I “upgraded” to a moissanite but I’ve been very happy with it and it checks all the points I was dissatisfied on– lack of sparkle, body color and inclusions, and yellow gold vs white gold.
