Original ring on the bottom … upgrade on the top. It’s funny how they have a lot of similarities, style-wise. Totally unplanned and not something I even realized until I put the two of them together like this — ha, ha!

Original set:

New set: (Same center stone)

The total carat weight is only slightly bigger in the new set because of the small stones in the bands and setting are maybe .60 and my original band was  .50.

On top is my ring set with a .75 ct diamond, and on the bottom is my ring with a 1 ct diamond

And here they are side by side.  The 0.75 ct original diamond is now set in a solitaire which I wear as a RHR or just alternating with my e-ring

Old set (the diamonds aren’t bad at all. Just REALLY bad lightning with a crappy phone)

New ring (I haven’t found a band I really like with it yet:

Original ring was a temporary ring that we agreed on, traded it in for 1,16 solitaire but after awhile the cloudyness and lack of sparkle got on my nerves so we traded it in within the 120 day policy to a 1ct with lot better specs and put it into a new setting.

Original ring: 1ctw, I1, H, good cut

The 1.16 solitaire that I mentioned above (G, I1-I2, good cut)-Found out that my Darling Husband liked princess cuts way better than rounds.

Reduced in size for better quality and a new setting (I missed the swirl from my original ring!)…I am happy with this set and not going to change it. (1.02, G, VS2, celebration cut diamond)

@blushbliss:  ah yes, one of my all time favorite WB rings, love that setting!

I love the e-ring plain, without the wrapping band. It’s just so pretty and simple but unique!
