Engagement ring #1: Loved it, still would love to have it but it began losing stones immediately.
Upgraded to engagement ring #2: A 1/2 tcw cluster ring, a more traditional choice.
After battling a disgusting rash for months I came to terms with the fact that I am allergic to 10k gold and upgraded to my current e-ring, very similar but not a cluster set and in 14k. Shown with my wedding band that I can’t WAIT to start wearing full time next month! Woo hooo! 🙂

@Inlove2001: My original ering was a .4ct princess diamond, .55ctw
My “upgrade” (original ering is w gold, nickel allergy!) is a 1.5ct moissanite, double halo in platinum. I wear my original ering on occasion 🙂

Original ring: I wear as a midi on my right hand. He literally was apologetic about not being able to afford a diamond! I didn’t care. Loved him then, love him now 20 years later.
For the wedding he bought me a Emerald cut garnet center with diamond chips (long gone now) at 10 year we upgraded to this which I still love. 1/3 ct diamond with trillion cut color change garnet. I wanted to upgrade because the garnet is getting badly scratched from everyday wear 🙁
Current ring, .75 ct center, not sure tcw, I forgot. I’m having it appraised on the 23rd.
