Steger Mukluks all the way! Super warm, super comfortable. Mine look like this:
I have these Keen Claras for winter errands, and a pair of older Sorels for tromping through the snow.
I have Baffin snowgoose boots. They keep my feet warm and dry during blizzard season in MN or while ice fishing/snowmobiling/shoveling etc. Easy to slip on and off and stay warm in the sub zero temps as well! I think they’re Canadian made, I really recommend them!
If I’m not wearing those though and the weather is mild and not too wet I just wear baily button Ugg boots.
We’re in the NWT. Have a pair of Manitobah Mukluks but for toasty toes I just got Acton Skagway’s from Weaver & Devore http://weaverdevore.ca/products-page/winter-footwear/womens-winter-footwear/winter-boots-womens-winter-footwear/acton-skagway-womens/
I live in NYC, so I walk a lot, but it’s mostly on sidewalks and not so much through big piles of fluffy snow. I need something with lots of traction (ice gets crazy). I love Carolinas. Water proof, warm, comfy, and look cute with dresses and jeans. They’re also super durable, I’ve had mine for three years and they look totally new.
I wear the Sorel Joan of Arctics, which a lot of people seem to have. I love them! They’re really warm and weren’t that expensive (for boots). I got mine at REI but they sell them everywhere. I also live in a cold, snowy place.
I have these. I’ve only worn them a couple times so far (the winter hasn’t been that bad yet in Indiana this year!), but they’re warm, cute, and reasonably priced.

Love my Sorel Tofinos. I was between these and the popular Joan of Arctics, which look the same in pictures, but this one is much narrower and feminine imo, and was a ton easier to walk in since its a lot lighter. According to reviews, some warmth was sacraficed though.
rcac1208: Best boots EVER! I’ve had mine well over three seasons and they still look brand new. And are WAAAAAAARM!!!
Blue Hunter boots (pic from poshmark.com)– rain or snow, they never fail!
