We are using “rustic elegance” as kind of our theme guidelines… utilizing many different colors, but primarily pinks.  We’re using roses and wildflowers.  Here’s the end goal for the centerpieces, except hopefully taller:

@lolot:  Gorgeous! I had something similar to that last photo pinned for the longest time.

We’re doing black runners with chalkboard wine bottles, borrowed milk glass, gold votive holders, and wooden table numbers. I need to do a mockup, but I need to get a white tablecloth first.

A very, very rough mock up just to get ideas. We’re doing a book theme 🙂

Books on the table, book cover for the table “number,” candles, and there will be a vase with flowers somewhere- not sure where yet. Ignore the square vase in this photo- we were testing hights and sizes, haha!

Thoughts???

I’ve made lollipop trees! Our venue doesn’t allow candles and I don’t want to spend loads on flowers so I thought about this a lot before I decided. I’m pretty happy with how they look 🙂

This is the sample my florist put together for me.  The water and flowers will go to the top of the vases.  And there will be white floralights hidden under the white ‘ice’ so everything will light up/glow from the inside and then the lit floating candles on top.  There will also be a lace covered votive holders with lit candles in them between  each of the vases.

(the background flowers aren’t part of it haha)

We have our final approval from the fire marshal for our centerpieces! He was actually there for an inspection the day we came for our meeting with the venue, so we got the news right away instead of having to wait another two weeks…

@stephko99:  Goodness that’s so cute!  I love the gerbera daisy!

Mine will be these lanterns, with two peach rose heads, atop doilies I found at an antique store that look a lot like the ones pictured, though we may try to tea-stain them a bit darker so they stand out on the ivory table cloths:

Surrounded by a few of these:

And a table number made of these numbers, and these holders:
