Prices are interesting, but am curious to know what percentage of the wedding budget everyone else’s dress is.  The dress I have in mind is 10% …  Is that crazy?

I purchased my dress for $800 the Allure 8705 including tax but not alterations. It will be here in December and the only thing I want to do is a sweetheart neckline and the basic adjustments to the sides for a better fit. Hopefully it won’t be too much more.

I’ll play.  I bought a dress but is eyeing another..gasp..but may end up wearing the one I have because I can’t justified the added cost.

I got this for $400, I want to shortened the dress and the train.  I want to turn it into a sweetheart neckline.  Alteration is yet to be done. =)

My dress (a Eugenia Couture) was about $3,000.  Although I got a slight discount (10% I think) for buying during a trunk show.

@martysgal: This is my dress too! I think it was in the range of $600, but that’s really a steal in Manhattan!!

@kimmylyn: We are dress twins! I found mine for 670 at a small bridal shop. It fits PERFECT so all I will need is the hem which is free and I am good to go! Plus I get $100 in store credit which will pay for my veil and shoes.

@midnight17: That dress looks amazing on you!

My dress is Vienna by Maggie Sottero, and her price was $1350 give or take $10. I’m not exactly sure what alterations are going to cost me, but the lady at the shop said to expect ~$250. If I could do it without looking crazy, I’d walk around in this dress every day.

@meitra: I was starting to feel a little bad too!  I spent $3855 on my Anne Barge dress, but I absolutely fell in love too! I tried on a POB dress as well…it was my second choice! My bridesmaids’ dresses are POB…she makes some gorgeous dresses! Congrats…yours is beautiful!

Mine was $3855 after a 10% discount.  I don’t have any pictures of me in it, but here is a picture from the web.  Its from the Anne Barge La Fleur collection. I fell in love as soon as I tried it on!!

Honestly, I don’t think the picture does it justice. You can’t really see the gorgeous layer of lace underneath the ruching.

Mine was $308 (including tax and shipping). No alterations needed, it fits like a glove! Perfect for our intimate outdoor wedding!! 🙂 And I received it 3 days after falling in love with it!

I can’t believe mine isn’t on here! It was $1390 and I had $400 of alterations done. So total $1790. It’s the Mikaella 1367.
