OMG! So jealous of soo many of you girls.  I live in the Hudson Valley of NY and prices here are just terribly high.  When you make an appointment at Kleinfeld they warn you before you come in that dresses start at 1800.  And upper NJ is no better.

Ok… so that dress I posted before… Totally not my dress. I found my dress and I love it but it is hard to stomach the price. It’s $4,900 before tax and alterations. But the fabric feels even richer than that. And the dress is completely made to measure. The designer does not have “sizes” they take 17 measurements and then make the dress to your body. The entire skirt is also hand draped so every dress is unique.

I will be ordering it in a few weeks. Trying to drop a few lbs first so alterations won’t be too bad.

Alfred Angelo 2083. I paid about $650 with tax. Alterations will be free since my mom will be doing them. She use to make wedding dresses but begged me to buy one so she wouldn’t have to make it from beginning to end lol.

Your dress is amazing. So unique!

My dress is Blue by Enzoani Dabra- I’m going to lower the sweatheart and take it in a little in the hips but I love it! It was $1700 pre alterations but my FI’s aunt bought it for me ๐Ÿ™‚

Mine was $1100, plus $200 for the veil.  Alterations will be a max of $350, depending on how many I need.  It’s the Delaware by Enzoani Blue.  I can’t wait to have it!

@Miss Navy: I “LOVE” your dress! its gorgeous and looks amazing on you!

Mine is Alfred Angelo 1609. I got it at a sample sale for $98!! I keep going back and forth between loving and hating it though! ๐Ÿ™‚ I tried on a few other styles, and didn’t really like any of them on me.. So I guess this is my wedding dress!

Love this thread!!

I can’t believe it, but I am a 2 dress bride! ๐Ÿ˜‰ They are both Maggie Sotteros and I got both off craigslist though, so for the Mia and the Jovi, I only paid $950 altogether. Plan on selling the Mia and making some money off of it since I got it so insanely cheap!

The dress I will be wearing is the Maggie Sottero Jovi, I didn’t see it on here.  Originally cost around 1200, plus bustle and veil came with it so around 1400 I think?? But I got mine off Craigslist and paid $700, I do have to get it cleaned though. I looooovvvveee this dress.

The first 2 attachments do NOT work! sorry!

I’ll try copying into the blog instead..

I got my dres at Vera Wang, Fall ’10.  The original price was $5800 but I got $1000 off and free alterations.  I’m 5’10, however, and plan to wear heels, so I had to order extra length, which was $667 (the skirt is very detailed).  With outrageous Chicago tax, it all came to $6100.  I love it, but I keep seeing so many pretty dresses- it’s hard to not want to try them all on!

I just bought my Watters Torreon today.  I paid 2900 which includes my alterations.  It was very expensive but nothing else was “me”.
