I fell in love with the Watters Delicias dress, but it was $2016 at the store and I was determined that I could find it for less. I ended up ordering it online from Half Bridal for $1070 including shipping. I’ll have to see what customs and alterations ding me, but it’s still much better!

Wow…at first I was starting to feel really guilty because my dress was so much more then those posted…I said to my Fiance,,,mine seems a lot higher…and he jokingly said, “Oh, you spoiled northeastern girls”….see I feel like living in NJ weddings are so much more expensive all together it’s crazy. My dress was $2400 and the alterations are $500 and then the veil was $450!!! So all together I guess $3400….I love it though…it’s Jim Hjelm. I have the sash tied in the back, and I had it changed to a modified A so it’s not so form fitting.

My dress was $450 plus tax. It’s from David’s Bridal, style V9743.
I set my budget for about $700 so I was happy it came so much under!

Mine was also about $450, and is a David’s Bridal Dress WG3026. I love her! Mine will be in ivory with a champagne sash!

My first dress is from Alfred Angelo – R135 Diamond White. With a $300 off coupon, I paid $870. BUT… then my BC patch failed and now I’m pregnant. Picked it up over Memorial Day weekend when it arrived at AA and still can’t find anyone to buy it for $600 OBO even though it is brand new, tags on, never altered or worn. So bummed (plus I loved the dress!) Have tried to advertise it everywhere – eBay, Craigslist, PreOwnedWeddingDress.com, etc. If anyone has tips for good places to sell, let me know.
Now I will be 37 weeks (!!!) pregnant at my wedding (10/10 – baby due 11/4). Fortunately my Future Mother-In-Law has a Julliard-trained dressmaker friend who agreed to make me a maternity bridal gown based on this design. Unfortunately the cost is just as much, if not more. Fabric alone (silk chiffon and organza) was over $400 plus all the trim and crystal beading and the dressmaker’s fee. But still getting to look (somewhat) attractive and bride-like on my day will be worth it. Still, ugh!!!

Hi everyone. Mine is Justin Alexander #8465. I got it for $744 (not including taxes or any alterations I might need) I got it for 15% because the bridal store cancelled my first appointment due to renovations they where making in the store. Went in later that month and go 15% off the dress and accessories!
I def agree with maemejo– once you find “the” dress you should look/call around. I found 3 stores near my area selling the same dress $875, $960, and $1298! [attachment=1113998,139901]

I Paid just under $1200 for my Maggie Sottero — Ashanti. Alterations included. Its 2010 style so I was unable to try it on before I ordered it. She should be in by the end of the month… So excited!! I’ll post pictures of me in it when it comes in!! =-)
For some reason it wont let me re-save it so you get to see my $50 flower girl dress to match!

@WhiteRoseRed – I really like your dress!
Endless dress worries and regrets made me end up with three dresses, two of which I wore. Lazaro was $4000 and Romona Keveza was $3600. I wish I knew from the start I would end up spending that much money, I would’ve given allowed myself to look at the $7-8K dresses and maybe found one dress that had everything I want. I did end up loving both my dresses in the end though.

Wow, I’m impressed at the deals some of you have gotten on your dresses! The selection seems more limited over here in Australia, so I just accepted the prices. I spent around $1200 US on Nyna by Maggie Sottero (without the straps).
