I’m doing all my reception flowers DIY, but I don’t want to worry about bouquets for my ladies and myself, leaving that to the professionals. I’m wondering what prices people have been quoted or paid for bouquets in Vermont??? I’m leaning toward wildflower bouquets but end cost may be the biggest deciding factor.

I would be interested in knowing pricing as well – I was going to do some price-checking today but I came down with the flu. I am also looking at more natural, wildflower bouquets (small sunflowers, etc). I’ll let you know what I find when I eventually make it out (probably sometime in the next couple weeks).

I met with Morgan from Valley Flower Company, 5 minutes from White River Junction in West Leb, New Husband. She’s AWESOME. Hip, not at all country, and affordable.
Check out her blog at: http://valleyflowercompany.blogspot.com/
I’m waiting for her to send me my quote, and I’m super excited.

I only interviewed one florist (my sister was married last year and interviewed 4 different florists and I don’t see that it’s necessary to repeat this process). Her prices were what I was expecting:
bridal bouquet: $100 – $150
Bridesmaids: $75 each
Corsages: $15-20 each
Boutonnieres: $10 each
Hope this gives you a good idea of what to expect.

I’m going with (formerly) Proflowers, now bridesign.com. Here’s a link to their pricing: http://www.bridesign.com/?ref=weddings
Costco also sells wedding flowers: http://www.costco.com/Common/Category.aspx?whse=BC&Ne=4000000&eCat=BC|62777&N=4018721&Nr=P_CatalogName:BC&cat=62789&Ns=P_Price|1||P_SignDesc1&lang=en-US&topnav=

We decided to go with Maplehurst in Essex, by the way. We know and like them and the pricing was within our budget – a bride’s bouquet, smaller bouquet for my Maid/Matron of Honor, 4 boutonnieres, 2 coursages, and throwing flowers for about $170. They deliver for $25 but we’ll be in Essex all that morning so we are just going to pick them up. Any extra flowers we decide to have we’ll just pick up at Costco or something.

I did the same thing, but down in Newport…bridal bouquet was $100…bridesmaids were $25, bouts were $5…in all we spent around $240 for flowers for the wedding…not bad considering what some floral budgets are!!
