LOVE my uppababy cruz. I live within walking distance to whole foods, target, and coffee shops and the giant basket is perfect for running errands while getting a nice walk in. I wasn’t a fan of the uppababy car seat so I just got adapters for the Nuna Pipa (aka the greatest car seat ever) instead and it worked perfectly. My son is now in the toddler seat and always seems happy and comfortable. The stroller is nice and narrow, easy to move around, and compact enough that I have no problem opening doors for myself and pushing him through (I’m 5’1 so have short arms). The one thing I don’t like is that it sucks to go on anything other than a smooth-ish surface. I believe they upgraded the wheels last year so it may be better, but mine is not good for off roading. It also doesn’t have a cup holder and I have yet to find one that doesn’t get in the way.
I have City mini and a BOB. Love them both. I use a carsest adapter with city mini and that’s my main stroller. It’s light, folds so easily, and is very convenient. I love that I can street and maneuver it easily with 1 hand. It’s a great stroller for errands.
I just started using the BOB as baby is 4 months and it’s been cold here. Thrilled with it so far!
I got all the accessories for both-mommy console, trays, etc.
We have the Britax B-Ready and used it with the infant Britax B-Safe car seat for the travel system. Worked out great. We love our stroller. It does have a wider wheel base, I but I find that it folds easily and I love the bottom basket, the size of the canopy, and the size of the stroller itself as both Darling Husband and I are on the taller side. The biggest draw besides wanting to use the Britax click in infant car seat was that it converts to a double down the road. The con is that it requires the purchase of additional accessories, like the snack tray and a better cup holder.
After a day researching (online not in person) I definitely want the Uppababy Vista – 2017 is almost 2 pounds lighter and 1 inch less on wheels, so more like Cruz. I love that it includes a bassinet which you can use in your house, hotels, or in the stroller making it like a cute pram – and also unlike the Cruz you can add on a second seat (additional like $150 once you’re preggo again) so I won’t have to buy a second stroller or a double.
raspberrymojito : Not quite yet as we are moving into a new house in April. As soon as we are moved and settled, I have a bunch of stuff to buy. (stroller, crib, glider – basically everything) I’m currently 6 months pregnant with our first child 🙂
I have an Uppababy Vista and it is fantastic- easy to fold, put in/out of my car, and the travel system design is great. I love using the bassinet in the stroller, it seems much more comfortable for my baby than using the car seat!
For any of you ladies that has the Uppababy Vista (2015 model, at least), I contacted the company about the new wheels. They will be selling them on their website come late spring and they will fit on the old model. This will get your old stroller narrower and more lightweight. I plan on purchasing a set because those were the two cons I have on an otherwise amazing stroller.
I bought a 2015 model Vista on Craigslist for $600 from a family who only used it a couple times. It was a deal I couldn’t pass up. Definitely try them out in a store and check around for used versions of the one you love!
I’m getting the UppaBaby Vista. My best friend has it and I love it. I love that it has the bassinet for when the baby is small as I’m due in early June and want to take the baby for alot of walks outside. The price of the stroler is a bit much but my inlaws are buying it for us which I’m super grateful for. I’m also getting the Mesa carseat that can fit into the stroller base. I’m so excited about getting the stroller lol but have a few more months until I can actually use it
