We will be TTC in the sunmer and if all goes as plan, we will be getting an UppaBaby vista as Christmas and birthday gifts!

I considered the Nuna, but after pushing the vista, my fiancé and I decided that the Vista was the one for us!

Have y’all seen the 2017 Henry Blue Marl with the leather stitching? So gorgeous and already sold out!!! I hope it comes back in stock!!!

so.. I see a LOT of really expensive strollers in this thread. No judgement man–if you can afford it, that’s awesome.

As the ones I looked at when doing some research to get an idea of baby expenses were ~$200 which is like 1/3 to 1/5 of the uppababy prices, i have to ask: did you try it against others (& where can I go to do this?).. what made you decide it was worth the extra cost? Also, if I see one on Craigslist or the like for $300 or so, would you think a used uppababy is better than a new.. whatever else?

amanda1988 :  it’s like anything, the cheaper one will probably work just fine but with a more expensive option you are paying for things like ease of use, better wheels, etc.

I almost went with the britax travel system after reading endless reviews online but once I test drove them, there was no comparison. I’m still pregnant (due in a week), so can’t speak to using IRL but in store, we just loved everything about the Cruz- weight, big basket, easy fold up, etc.

As far as where you can try them out: not sure where you’re located but Babies R Us or Buy Buy Baby have lots of options.

amanda1988 :  I thought the same thing! My husband and I make a decent wage but even then we refuse to spend more on stroller than what our mortgage payment is! But to each their own…
