Oh yum! We had a hard time deciding. We are doing a vanilla cake with one tier raspberry filling and one tier chocolate. We were really tempted to go with a key lime filling too, and we still may we dont ahve to decide until 2 days before with changing anything for the cake. I’m so excited though!

I decided to make my own cake for our reception when we get back home. I’m making a 3 tiered rich and dense chocolate cake with vanilla swiss meringue buttercream. Made a trial last weekend because my Fiance hates icing in general but he devoured the swiss buttercream. It’s so light and complimentary!
Chocolate mousse sounds divine though @Fairy Penguin If I’d had more skillz I would have attemped the same. Yummmm

We’re having 3 tiers, top to bottom: Chocolate cake w/ espresso filling, yellow cake w/ chocolate fudge and white cake w/ lemon cream
All of the tiers will have buttercream icing and a rolled white chocolate layer instead of fondant, because it tastes better, but still give us the smooth look we want
