I drive a 2005 Dodge Neon and Fiance drives a 2010 Toyota Corolla. It is nice to be on opposite car loans, but I am ready for my new car! LOL  We both want an Infiniti when we are older and can afford it. Fiance used to valet park and says they are the nicest to drive!

We have a 2007 Elantra. Fiance and I work and live together so having a second car really isn’t needed right now. Our car is cute and gets us from point A to point B. We get about 35 mpg which definitely helps on our hour and a half round trip commute to work.

I have a 2009 Mazda 3 but Fiance drives it now because he is commuting over an hour each way.  He thinks it’s a total girly car and wants his 2002 Ford Explorer back.  We are probably going to be looking for a new SUV in the next year or so we will see!!  I want something with hit all…I won’t buy without a navigation system or heated seats next time!

@ClairDarling: me, me, me! Haha 🙂 I drive a 325, but we may swap it for an M3 within the next year I think. Having it has turned me into a complete car snob. I can’t STAND driving SO’s work truck (a Chevy Tahoe), or my mom’s honda. You just get so used to the way it handles that anything else seems so different. But before I met SO, I drove a beat-up ancient Civic that was constantly crapping out on me, so I feel like my years of being tortured by that thing finally allotted me some car-karma and now I love what I drive! 😀

If you get them at least a few years old, they really are not much more expensive than a newer Toyota, Honda, etc. I can’t reccomend BMW enough and I say it’s totally worth it!

I have a 2003 RAV 4 . and i still LOVE it. Still havent had any problems. Teddy just bought the Subaru Forrester but it hasnt come in yet….if I love his car I might follow suit when Persephone (my Rav4) gives out.

I have a 2008 2 door civic, my FH has a mustang. He also has a two year old and I can fit a car seat in my backseat with two (smaller) people and he can not. At first FH teased me about my little car, the mustang really does seam bigger, but once I let him drive it, he has had nothing but really great things to say. He even drives it with my rhinestone license plate frame, it is so funny to see guys check out the driver only to see my manly FH…. makes me laugh every time!

I really suggest looking at one. I bought it “used” with 3750 miles on it. I went prepared to buy new, so this was a great deal for me. It is my dream car! I saw another post about the civic and talked about the si, that was a tough decision for me. I did a ton of research and the biggest reason I didn’t go with the si model is because it needs premium gas, regular gas is currently 3.09 here and I drive about 75 miles a day.

Good luck and happy shopping!
