This cycle I have started to monitor my CM. Given that I only started about 2 weeks ago and today being cycle day 23, I thought I missed O. Up until yesterday I was having creamy and sticky CM, then BAM, this morning I had unmistakable EWCM. My cycles have been between 39–46 days since my MC in December. Now all this leads me to some questions:
Does EWCM mean I’m Oing, or about to O?
We BDed today, should we again tomorrow or just Sunday?
I also have have slight cramping on the left side- so I’m prob Oing, right?

Hi! Usually you ovulate about 14 days before the end of your cycle (if you have a “normal” luteal phase), and you start producing EWCM a couple of days before you ovulate. Pretty much, that means that this is the ideal time to BD! 😉 There are conflicted schools of thought on every day/every other day, but I’d go for both.
Best of luck to you!!!

graygodess20: I get EWCM a couple of days or so leading up to O. As victorianghost: said it makes an ideal time to O to give sperm the time to reach the egg.

Based on my CM patterns, I have EWCM or watery CM for a few days and I O the day after the last day I have fertile CM.
