merighthere : I don’t even have a Starbucks in my area. lol So, if I get a coffee when I am out and about it’s from Mc’donalds or a gas station. haha
I’ve never bought any of their products for my own coffee either. I have and do like Dunkin’s though! We don’t have one of those either but I enjoy their coffee.

I love my dark roast beans! I make double shot lattes all day long. I don’t drink alcohol or smoke so… This is my only ‘bad’ habit!

I usually drink black dark roast coffee, BUT sometimes in the fall/winter for a treat I will make a fall coffee drink. It’s 1/2 cup milk, 1-2 tsp brown/cane sugar, a splash of vanilla extract, some cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice and a spoon of canned pumpkin. I just mix it, heat it up, foam it up in my frothier thing and then pour it over a shot or two or espresso.

Coffee is definitely one of my vices I will never be able to let go! For years the only way I could get through my day was very strong coffee (used to add 2-3 additional expresso shots to whatever I drink b/c I needed the caffeine) with just a dash of cream. I used to drink my coffee this way for many years until my coworker introduced me to adding honey to coffee. When she first told me, I said it sounded weird and gross until one day I decided to humor her and tried it. It changed me forever, and now I always drink my coffee with raw organic honey and lots of whole organic cream. Yum! I don’t know why but it gives me much more energy and because raw honey isn’t processed sugar, my blood sugar levels stay balanced and I never get that morning sugar crash from it. I know it sounds weird, but I highly recommend it especially replacing honey with any sugary add-ons.

What is creamer? is it milk? is it powdered milk? is it condensed milk? Is it liquid or powder? Australian coffee addict checking in and I’m very intrigued….
Also do americans put actualy cream in coffee (that’s what I heard)?

merighthere : Yeah, I think Starbucks coffee is not good. That’s why anyone that goes there gets the fancy special flavored and sweetend drinks. The straight up plain coffee is pretty bleh.

If I’m buying one, it’s gonna be a frozen mocha frappe in the warmer months, and a pumpkin mocha when it’s cold. At home, I usually just french vanilla creamer, or pumpkin when in season. Sometimes I’ll get one of those already made iced coffees from the grocery store.
We have a gas station/restaurant here called Sheetz that I think has better specialty coffees than Starbucks. It’s kind of like a WaWa, if any of you know either of those. lol

Really dislike Starbucks coffee. I do like their seasonal drinks though, I’m in the UK so you really have to specify how you want them made and if you want a hot drink you have to say extra hot or you get luke warm. I think the training is bad on the whole.
Love Caffè Nero in UK and mostly independent shops. At home we have a Nespresso machine that I love. Generally drink black coffee.

My Fiance and I loooove coffee! We like to get some local roasts, or order from his “coffee guy” and mix it with a cinnamon coffee we’ve found. It’s delish. I’ve started using a hazelnut almond milk creamer that I’ve found by Califia.
There is one coffee that I will drink completely black – I order it directly from Hoku Lani in Hawaii and it’s amazing! I just ordered some this week after telling a friend about it and I’m super excited as I’ve been out for a while 😊

I only drink black coffee, but I must admit, I do enjoy some of the flavored coffees. I love the starbucks mocha coffee and caribou’s new chocolate one.

mrstea83 : I’m surprised you can’t just find it in the stores! I have family who lives on the northshore and Rouse’s supermarkets and Winn-Dixie both carry Cafe du Monde.
For me, personally, it’s Community Coffee New Orleans blend (coffee with chicory) with a splash of milk. I have fond memories of my mom making me coffee milk as a child (she’d put a few spoonfuls of her coffee into a glass of milk for me) and now that I live allllllllll the way across the pond I get Community shipped in six month supplies off of Amazon.

Sweet.Sugar.Rose : My new favorite is Green Mountain Brown Sugar Crumble Donut coffeee. It smells sooo good and tastes even better! I like it with Dunkin Donuts Extra Extra creamer, or Coffeemate Natural Bliss Sweet Cream creamer.

catsanddogs : I believe its basically Coffee-Mate! Something you use instead of milk.

coffee made with an egg and fresh from the cow milk with a little bit of raw local honey. Now that I’m preggo though I just occasionally get a decaf Carmel macchiato from dunken donuts
