LilliV :  Do you find that cold brew is SO expensive to make? It does taste amazing, but it uses up so much ground coffee, like ten times as much as just brewing a pot hot. I tend to just make coffee the night before and put it in the fridge, then drink it cold in the morning with ice. πŸ˜› Definitely not as good as cold brew, and it grosses my husband out the door, but it’s not bad at all.

I generally brew my coffee strong and add half & half and just a little stevia, but I have previously made the mistake of buying the Coffeemate “Caramel and Coconut” creamer and becoming addicted to it.

I LOVE coffee. I used to drink it black for years but I have recently started to add almond milk or creamer to my coffee. My go to order at Starbucks is 3 shots of espresso over ice with soy milk.

If I stop at Starbucks on the drive to work I add in this creamer from home. (I know, I sound crazy. But trust me, TRY IT)

Cafe Milagro is the best coffee I’ve had, dark roast!  It’s a shop in Costa Rica that I had while I was there and they ship to the US!  For creamer, I just do half and and half… I like the flavor ones, but not a fan of how artifical they are.

I love dark roast coffee.  This is terrible, but I use organic heavy whipping cream in my coffee…it.is.the.best.  I eat a very healthy and mostly vegetarian diet; I really try to limit my dairy.  I’ve tried every soy/almond/hemp/rice creamer out there & can’t stand any of them, so this is something I splurge on with no apologies!

Born and raised in Seattle, i’m a coffee-holic.

Starbucks is blech but it’s literally on every corner so I do frequent. When I go, it’s just an Americano.

Or a gosh darn Pumpkin Spice Latte or Peppermint White Mocha in the fall/winter when I want to have a terrible, yet delicious, stomach ache.

Every day coffee for me is black. I might add a touch or cashew or almond milk.

I love creamers but I don’t love the sugars and chemicals πŸ™ When I do decide I love the sugar and chemicals it’s French Vanilla or, pumpkin pie πŸ™‚

marriedtopizza :  that’s one of the reasons I buy it in bulk at costco – it’s way cheaper! I think a 3lb can is about $13 and it lasts me over a month. I’m also the only coffee drinker in the house though so it would be more expensive if my husband drank coffee too. He’s a super weirdo that is perky without caffeine and absolutely detests the flavor of coffee – so much so he won’t even kiss me if I have recently had a sip lol.

When I make it at home, I fresh grind a dark roast with cream, no sugar. On weekends, my husband makes it in our French Press or makes espresso on the stovetop. He drinks his black. We don’t have a certain brand that we always buy, usually what’s on sale but always a good quality coffee. When I go out, I like to get iced coffee, especially caramel flavored. Mmmm

My current fix is:

Starbucks Sumatra Blend (Dark Roast ) .. mostly regular creamer .. & 2 tbsp french vanilla creamer (too much sugar & can’t do the sugarfree)

My favorite seasonal creamer is pumpkin spice!

chiweeniemommy :  My Fiance sometimes goes on this crazy diet that is extremely high in protein and fat (Keto, maybe?), and when he does he puts heavy cream in his coffee! Except he says he thinks it tastes terrible – he only does it to increase his fat intake for the diet. πŸ˜„

I’ve never tried it but I’m sure I’d probably find it delicious like you. When I was little and went out to restaurants with my grandparents I would drink those little half-and-half creamers (my Fiance was totally disgusted when I told him that).

Well, I’m from New Zealand, and we can be very serious about our coffee. I dont think what you get at starbucks counts as coffee at all. I like long blacks and flat whites from the cafe behind my office, who always make super strong, amazing espresso and on the weekends my fiance makes me french press coffee using cuban or guatamalan coffee which I drink black and unsweetened. He likes to put a little cream and sugar in his which I think is blasphemous. I generally dont like to flavour my coffee – very occassionally I’ll have a mocha, but I only get them from a cafe that makes their mochas using very dark, unsweetned cocoa powder. I really dont like any kind of sweetness in my coffee. Strange given I love sweet things generally!

I’m from Melbourne, Aus which is probably the coffee-snob capital of the world… I have a double shot latte every morning to start the day and will often have a second one by 11am. We have a proper cafe style coffee machine in the office, the guys I work with drink 4+ coffees every day and we can make nice lattes for our clients πŸ™‚
