I’m currently stressing over my eyebrows. They’re not completely even and I wish they were a bit thicker. I’ve tried growing them out and then having them reshaped, but they really aren’t growing/filling in where I want them to. I use a pencil and do what I can to make them look their best, but I’m worried they’re going to look bad in wedding pictures. Has anyone been in this situation? What does everyone do to help with growth or just making them look good in general? Thanks In Advance.

My eyebrows aren’t as thick as I would like them either. What I do is use a powder that is close to my eyebrows, never too dark or they end up looking harsh.
I have used a pencil before but I just think it looks too harsh and unnatural. Have you tried a powder using a stiff angle brush?

Are your eyebrow hairs long? I ask because my brows tend to look splotchy if the hairs get too long. I know this sounds weird but when I go and get them trimmed (by my hairdresser) they look better and more even. When I do want to fill in I usually use a matching eyeshadow shade like PP mentioned with an eyeliner angle brush.

@raisedonrobbery: I haven’t tried a powder because I have blonde hair and I’m worried they’ll look too dark, but I suppose it’s worth a shot
@emilygrace07 They are a bit long actually. Thanks for the advice, I’ll trim them.

I’d try just leaving them alone for awhile and see how they grow in?

@Britt_RN: I use a coloured wax with an angled brush. really accentuates whats naturally there.

I certainly have! I plucked them to the point where they were non-existant! Try Rimmel’s Grow Serum or Castor Oil… Put them on your brows twice a day. It makes the hair grow in quicker… I’ve been using it since April for my July wedding and oh what a difference..
I also use an eyebrow filler from Anastasia.. Ask someone at the counter and they will match the right color for you… It looks much better than the pencil.

I’m currently growing mine out. I over tweezed and I’m just growing out along the existing eyebrow line and then I’m going to start waxing monthly until the wedding so I can get them how I want them. Mine have the ability to get nice and thick- which, by the way, I’m so SO glad is coming back. I’ve always loved a nice thick eyebrow (nothing bushy!) and the skinny ones always make women look like they’re surprised.

@Rubbs: I use that filler! Is it the gel tint stuff that comes in a bottle with a wand, similiar to mascara? I love that stuff.

My one eyebrow has more of an arch and I hate it! I just let them grow out and a week before I asked to have them shaped as evenly as possible. Right now they are SO BUSHY and I just don’t even have the 10 bucks to get ’em waxed! I love when they are thin and shaped nicely. I also overplucked for years and had to stop it got to the point where it took a long time for the hair to grown in.

You can also use the eyelash product “Latisse”
When my mother was using the product her doctor said it can also be used to grow in eyebrows.

🙁 I have the opposite problem. Mine are too thick! I have only ever had them shaped right once and everywhere I go can’t get them right… I am really worried about how they will look.

european wax centers give the first wax free– u can get either eyebrows, bikini line, armpit done for free.
beneift also gives a free eyebrow wax the week of your birthday.
i am currently growing them out because of stress tweezing and tweezer happy hands. so far i havent tried a serum but use a powder to draw/fill them in.

I just went to Sephora yesterday, and I have some of the same issues. I think my brows are too thin, and one is shaped differently than the other.
They used an Anastasia eyebrow stencil thing and filled them in with a waxy filler/powder. They looked awesome and really natural.
